Welcome to Agralarm, Inc.. Since 1990 we have been installing and servicing alarms exclusively for poultry and livestock producers. Our Company has built its reputation on reliability and service and has become recognized as a leader in the industry.

The demands of modern poultry production have created a very important role for the alarm system. Agralarm excels in meeting those demands and poviding unmatched service to the Grower. We take pride on truly becoming a Partner with each and every farm customer.

Whether you are building new houses, retrofitting conventional houses or needing to repair the alarms in existing houses, our Staff can explain the alarm options and work with you to design the most efficient and economical alarm for you. Most importantly, Agralarm is there to help you down the road if you have a problem.

Steve Flaherty, President, has been involved with poultry and livestock since childhood. The son of a large-animal veterinarian, Steve has always had a passion for farming and animals. Growing up on Maryland's Eastern Shore and attending the University of Maryland in the early 1980's, Steve farmed and raised chickens and hogs. While farming, Steve became involved in the alarm industry. As technology quickly began to affect all industries, Steve applied his alarm industry experience to agriculture, focusing exclusively on poultry and livestock farms. "Chicken houses had alarms back in the '70's and '80's but there didn't seem to be anyone around to keep them working properly", Steve says. Today, Agralarm fills this niche for nearly 500 farms.

Glenn Hansen, Vice-President, joined Agralarm in 2000. With over 25 years of alarm installation and service experience, Glenn's involvement with Agralarm is key to the Installation and Service quality for which Agralarm is known.
After military duty with the U.S. Navy, Glenn began his civilian career in the electrical and low-voltage electronics industries. He became an installer for Alarmguard in Salisbury, Md. and worked to become the Service and Installation Manager. Alarmguard was acquired by ADT Security in 1999 and at this point Glenn joined the Agralarm Team.
"My biggest role is making sure that every installation and every service call is done properly and to Agralarm standards. There can be no exceptions. Ours is not a "one-time" relationship with the Customer but one that must last successfully for as long as our Customer is growing chickens."

At Agralarm we take alarms seriously because It's What We Do!
