The stongest link in any alarm is the contact that is made with the farm owner. We make sure that our Customers are informed about the communication options and decide for themselves which one is best for them.
Many farms utilize automatic dialing machines. These dialer units can be programmed to call mulitple numbers and indicate an alarm condition or other problem. Although Agralarm does not endorse any automatic dialer unit, we will support any Grower that chooses to use one on their farm.
Agralarm Central offers direct, personal contact with each Grower and makes sure that an authorized person is notified. Agralarm Central is an important extension of the direct "partnership" that we have with each and every Customer. Besides alarm notification, Agralarm Central supervises the communication link at the farm. Each farm automatically "checks in" with Agralarm Central to let us know that it is on-line and communicating properly. If your farm fails to "check in", you are notified. This is especially helpful for a Grower who does not live on the farm property.
Cellular communication to Agralarm Central is also available and can be used as a backup to the standard phone line or as a primary reporting format if no standard line exists.
