Poultry house alarms typically monitor critical temperatures and power loss to ventilation fans. However, with the advent of controllers in tunnel ventilation houses, we are able to monitor such things as static pressure, water flow, feed, power, temperature and more.

Depending on the wiring available between the houses, Agralarm is able to individually identify alarms from farms with as few as one houses up to as many as sixty houses (or more). Most farms report as: Alarm Zone #1 is House #1, Alarm Zone #2 is House #2 etc. but this can be more specific if needed.

In new construction and retrofit applications, the contracted electrician installs the alarm devices in the poultry house (controllers, power relays, Thermalarms etc.) and wires these devices to a central location or “Head-End” (typically a generator room or pump room). It is here that the Agralarm Control is located. Agralarm makes the necessary connections to the alarm devices, makes all phone line connections, performs all programming and testing. Upon completion, training is provided to the Grower.

In existing houses Agralarm can repair or upgrade any alarm system to ensure that it is working correctly. Maybe your house needs rewiring, maybe your siren is not working or perhaps a fan relay is not alerting you when the power fails. Whatever the case ... Agralarm can help!

note: The above information also applies to confinement hog buildings.

Service to the alarm system is our mission no matter what equipment is being used or who installed it originally. The Grower must have someone that he/she can call if there is a problem. Agralarm fills this need!
